Edward Masaitis, President, CEO, and Managing Partner, is a real estate marketing professional with more than 40 years of experience in real estate development, marketing, and management. He has been extensively involved in land acquisitions, municipal processing, financing, contract negotiations, critical path scheduling, and all phases of construction. Mr. Masaitis has broad expertise in all aspects of the homebuilding process with particular emphasis on custom luxury residential construction. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University.
Chairman and Partner
Michael Anderson, Chairman and Partner, is a seasoned entrepreneur, executive and real estate developer with more than 40 years of experience and success in new business development and management. Mr. Anderson graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree; served two years as a US military intelligence officer; and co-founded the US Cable Group which became a significant multiple cable TV system operator both domestically and in the United Kingdom. More recently, the Group has diversified into a number of successful telecommunication ventures including Orlando based Smart City Telecom which provides cable TV, telephony, and internet services to the Disney World complex and surrounding communities.
Executive Vice President and Partner
Phil Flournoy, Executive Vice President and Partner, is a seasoned building contractor with more than 35 years of design and construction experience. Mr. Flournoy began his career in the 1970s as a carpenter tradesman in Lost Tree Village where he refined his skill for luxury construction. Over the next 35 years, Mr. Flournoy has overseen and built luxury custom homes of all sizes and complexities. Mr. Flournoy is well-regarded as one of the finest contractors in South Florida. His total commitment to design and construction excellence is matched by his abilities, track record and avowed dedication to quality home construction.
Chief Financial Officer and Partner
Jason Diaz, Chief Financial Officer and Partner, graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2000. Mr. Diaz practiced law in Ocala, Florida where he also began his career in residential construction and large tract development. In 2008, Mr. Diaz proudly joined Affinity Construction as its Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel. Mr. Diaz maintains his Florida Bar License and is responsible for maintaining the standards established by the company. Mr. Diaz possesses the organizational and financial administrative disciplines required to guide the firm in its quest for excellence, and brings both his legal and real estate experience to the team.
Vice President/Construction – Senior Project Manager
John joined the Affinity Construction team in 2010 with more than 30 years of industry experience, ranging from independent contracting to management level positions in construction in Florida. John’s past experience range from practical construction , construction estimating and project management of projects that included multiple homes. Jonh has managed luxury residential construction projects in exclusive communities such as Bears Club, Loxahatchee Club, Admiral’s Cove, Jonathan’s Landing, Jupiter Inlet Colony, as well as many other luxury waterfront and golf course communities throughout the South Florida area.
Office Manager/Book Keeper
Scarlet has worked in the construction industry for 25 years in various departments including estimating, project coordination and accounting. She possesses outstanding organizational and accounting skills and partnered with her attention to detail makes her a key asset complimenting Affinity’s commitment to excellence.
Vice President/Business Development
Also a Florida State Certified General Contractor, Geoff is a second generation developer/builder that brings 18 years of experience to the table. He has been involved in practically every aspect of building including multifamily, commercial, medical, golf course and luxury community development. His core competency is luxury homes and has a broad knowledge of expertise in sales, marketing, and contract negotiations. He has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida.
Client Relations/Project Coordinator
Trisha brings over 22 years of interior design and construction experience to the Affinity Team. A graduate of the University of Florida and State Licensed Interior Designer, she is also a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers. Her experience working with many talented tradesmen and contractors on luxury residential projects, lends itself to her talents in client insight, project coordination and vendor relations bringing another level of expertise to our commitment to excellence. Trisha is an avid saltwater angler and donates time to charity events as well as historical preservation interests locally.
Alex began her career in the construction industry after graduating from Auburn University with a Master’s Degree in Construction Management. Alex has had years of experience in the healthcare sector as a project engineer, quality control supervisor and assistant superintendent. Alex is proficient in seamlessly working with each project team from each jobs concept to completion.
Dwight has resided in Palm Beach County since 1958 and has been working hands on in the luxury construction business since 1970. Dwight has lived in Jupiter Farms and enjoys living the country life in his spare time. Dwight has been married since 1978 and has three kids and seven grandkids. Dwight has been with Affinity since its inception and is proud to further Affinity’s goals of creating homes of distinction!
Colin was born in Scotland and graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2003. Shortly therafter, Colin met his future wife and has since resided in South Florida ever since. Colin is the proud father of three children. Colin is licensed as a General Contractor since 2009 but has worked in the construction industry since 1997. Colin joined the Affinity Team in 2011 and has recorded a 2nd place finish in every Affinity golf tournament.
Mark Renick has been in the construction industry since 1980 and received his certified contractor’s license in 1986. Since that time, Mark has perfected his craft by working hands-on throughout every phase of the construction process and now stands as one of the highest regarded Project Managers in South Florida. Affinity was proud to have him join our Team in 2014.
Mark graduated from LaSalle University and began his career in the building industry in 1977. Mark obtained his general contracting license in 2006 and has extensive experience in all stages of custom home construction and project management. Mark joined Affinity in 2014 and brings his plethora of real world expertise to the Team.
Alex, one of Affinity’s newest team members, is a University of Florida graduate with a degree in construction management. Alex has 5 years experience in the custom luxury residential construction industry. With a hands-on approach in the field and great client relationships, Alex is eager to create quality homes and an easy process for owners.
Chris graduated from Iona College and has been in the construction industry for 25 years. He received his certified contractor’s license in 2004 and has worked all phases in the construction of custom homes. Chris’s reputation and quality work are well known in Palm Beach County and has built homes in Admirals Cove, Ibis, Loxahatchee Club, Steeple Chase, Moorings, Islands of Jupiter, and Willoughby. In his spare time Chris likes to Bowl and Golf.
Mark entered the construction industry full time in 1972. After completing studies in architecture and building construction at Miami Dade Junior College, he received his Florida State Certified General Contractors License in 1976. His project management skills have built custom luxury residences in Alachua, Manatee and Palm Beach Counites. Mark’s 45 year career has produced quite a portfolio and phenomenal experience he brings to the Affinity team.
Deborah joined Affinity Construction Group in 2015 and brought her extensive experience in customer service and administration. Prior to joining Affinity Construction Group, Deborah worked as a Real Estate Post Closer at Schultz and Associates PA where she assisted the attorneys with residential and land contracts as well as closing documents. Deborah holds an AA Degree in Liberal Arts from Union County College Cranford, New Jersey.
